Tea Time: Back to School / Volta às Aulas

This week's Tea Time is all about going back to school. Clearly that is what is on my brain these past few weeks. Especially considering that my kiddos have done so amazingly well in school. Diana is just gobbling up whatever her kindergarden teacher throws her way: she is reading 8 sight words, she knows how to write her name and she enjoys practicing her alphabet. I know she has just started but I am expecting great things from that little one. Arthur is the same as usual. My straight A boy. He has brought home 2 report cards (from Language Arts and Math). He has a 100% average in both classes. Let's not mention that he is in honor classes. That kid always makes me proud. As for Philip he took me by complete surprise this year. I had a meeting with his teacher and she told me that is doing math on a 4th grade level (he is currently in 3rd grade). Not only that but he got a 100% on his evaluation test. His reading is on end of 3rd/beginning of 4th grade level. She is planning on pushing my boy so that he can continue to grow. Philip has always been very smart but I think he has matured and grown a lot this past summer. And now he is definitely flying high. I am so very proud of him... So here is my layout. Yes, I featured Diana in it on her very 1st day of school. But all 3 make me very proud. I sure love being their Mom!!! O tema do nosso Tea Time essa semana é "Volta às Aulas". Afinal é só nisso que penso desde que as aulas das crianças começaram. Diana está no kindergarden e amando de paixão. Aos poucos ela está aprendendo a ler e escrever. Aliás o nome dela ela sabe escrever. Arthur pra variar só tira 10 nas aulas dele. Babo de orgulho com as notas dele. Philipe esse ano me surpreendeu. Tive uma reunião com a professora dele e ela me disse que eles está lendo e fazendo matemática bem acima dá série dele. Ela vai continuar incentivando o menino. Fiquei tão feliz. Afinal Philipe amadureceu muito durante essas férias e agora estou vendo que ele está realmente voando bem alto. Sim, sei que meu layout só tem foto da Diana no primeiro dia de aula dela. Mas meus 3 filhotes me deixam super hiper orgulhosa. Amo ser mãe deles!!! Agora não deixem de passar lá no Café do Scrap pra ver o que as meninas aprontaram.
